The Steveston Fuji were a baseball team in 1934. The Fuji, along with other regional Japanese clubs, were used as feeder teams for the Asahi in Vancouver.

Steveston is a historic fishing village in the south west corner of Richmond. There is still a vibrant marine industry there and the community has deep Japanese roots.
Steveston is still very quiet and sleepy, but bustles with tourists in the Summer.
It is a great place to raise a family.
